Dear Hon Malcolm Turnbull,

Good decent people and supporters of Human Rights would like to thank you for standing up for Human Rights and speaking out for the suffering families, men, women and children in the so called "No Fire zone" who are mercilessly killed on a daily basis, in North East Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka continues to slaughter civilians that it claims to be its own people, in the name of fighting the LTTE.

We deeply appreciate Liberal party's support for the motion that Senator Bob Brown put forward in the Parliament.

British Foreign Minister David Milliband, French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner, Federal Minister of European and International Affairs of Austria Michael Spindelegger took a strong stance after UN briefing, and slammed Sri Lanka for grave human right violations inside the "safe zone" AND in the "IDP camps" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AhRWVLWPtnw).

In the light of these events unfolding at an international level, it is sad that the Australian Government has blocked Senator Bob Browns motion.

To look at wounded and dead children and their wailing mothers, after Sri Lanka shelled Mullivaikkal makeshift Hospital, for the 3RD TIME in a week, in the "No Fire zone" in North East of Sri Lanka (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AhRWVLWPtnw), is heart wrenching.

Tamil National Alliance leader MP R.Sampanthan, speaking from Colombo states, “The Government of Sri Lanka is mass killing Tamil civilians after denying them food and medicine. This is the reality. More bloodshed can happen in the next few days. We appeal to the International community to immediately stop this systematic killings of civilians

Yours Truly,
